John Grady, a partner in DLA Piper's Philadelphia office and former president of the Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA), received the ADISA President’s Award at the 2018 ADISA annual conference.

The award is given to individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and service to the industry and adhere to the highest ethical standards and quality performance in the industry. The current ADISA president chooses the winner of the ADISA President’s Award.

John brings 30 years of investment management experience to his practice. He works with mutual funds, interval funds, commodity pools, private funds and business development companies, among other investment vehicles, and counsels investment advisers, broker-dealers, transfer agents and commodity pool operators on a range of issues, from fund formation to compliance to mergers and acquisitions.

John currently serves as chairman of ADISA’s conference planning committee and is a member of its Executive Committee.
