Stephen E. Murray to help lead local business organization
Philadelphia intellectual property law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel is pleased to announce that attorney Stephen E. Murray has been named to the Board of Directors of the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the EMCCC Technology Committee.
“Being involved with the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber is very rewarding for me,” said Murray. “It is a wonderful organization with great people, all focused on making Montgomery County a great place to live and work.”
Founded in 1933, the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber now serves more than 500 members. The organization provides monthly programming to all members including networking, leadership development, and philanthropic opportunities.
An intellectual property attorney, Murray focuses his practice at Panitch Schwarze on the preparation of patent applications to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as on post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Office. He handles a wide variety of technologies, such as in the optics field, including lasers and bar code scanners, imagers, and portable data terminals, in the solid state field, including semiconductor manufacturing and computer memory, in the video gaming entertainment field, including arcade-style gaming machines and associated programming, as well as in other electrical and mechanical-oriented fields.
Murray earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Temple University before going on to earn his law degree from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law. He lives in Abington, Pennsylvania.
