CBRE Group Inc. announced today that its New Jersey Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance team has arranged $5 million in financing on behalf of Summit Import Corporation, one of the most prominent distributors of Asian food imports on the East Coast. The financing was secured by a 120,000-square-foot refrigerated industrial warehouse, located at 100 Summit Place in Jersey City, N.J.
After a thorough and competitive marketing process, the CBRE team of James Gunning, Donna Falzarano and Stephen Joseph arranged the $5 million loan with Atlantic Stewardship Bank, representing their long-term client for the second time at this location. Further, the bank is offering supplemental funding for the construction of an addition to the property, which will be leased to a third party. CBRE worked closely with the borrower to identify their capital needs as well as the desire for a flexible relationship lender.
100 Summit Place is an ideal warehouse location with unparalleled access to key transportation routes. The property sits immediately off of the New Jersey Turnpike, connecting it directly to a number of major regional thoroughfares, including Interstates 78 and 287.
