Furia Rubel VP to direct public relations, social media for community service organization

Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., an award-winning, integrated marketing and public relations agency, is pleased to announce that Vice President of Public Relations Sarah Larson has been appointed to chair the Public Relations Committee of Perkasie Rotary.

Larson, a longtime resident of the Perkasie area, has spent her career improving and facilitating communications among businesses, governmental leaders and the general public. Her lifelong passion for calling attention to unmet needs in her community makes her a natural fit for Perkasie Rotary, where she will help to raise awareness of the organization’s extensive community service efforts.

“We are so pleased that Sarah took on this important position. With her expertise in communications supporting our efforts, we know that we will raise our profile, drive attendance at our events and generate more fundraising dollars that we can put back into the community,” said Bob Hipp, President of Perkasie Rotary.

Founded in 1925, Perkasie Rotary is a chapter of Rotary International and dedicates its work to the group’s mission of “Service Above Self.” The organization is dedicated to bringing civic and business leaders together to help their communities thrive.

Perkasie Rotary serves the Pennridge School District area, hosting events throughout the year to show support for and raise money for important community efforts. In one of its most recent projects, members gathered and donated school supplies to a backpack drive for Pennridge students organized by Pennridge Fish. A spaghetti dinner at the Perkasie Fire House on Oct. 8 will raise funds to be divided between the Perkasie police department, the Perkasie Fire Company, and Perkasie Rotary.

“The Pennridge area is a fantastic place to live, and I’m excited to do my part to continue bringing people together to share their talents in service to our community,” said Larson.
