Stefanie Jackman and Kim Phan
Ballard Spahr lawyers Stefanie H. Jackman and Kim Phan have been named to Collection Advisor's list of the 25 Most Influential Women in Collections.
The women recognized were chosen because of their "dedication to the perfection of debt collection, improvement of the industry and the promotion of compliance education." Honorees were profiled in September/October 2016 issue of Collection Advisor.
Ms. Jackman is a partner in the firm's Atlanta office. She represents financial services institutions—including debt collectors—counseling them on compliance, advising them during government investigations, and defending them in individual and class action lawsuits.
Ms. Phan provides guidance to financial services clients on regulatory compliance matters, including interactions with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Before joining Ballard Spahr, she was a lobbyist for DBA International, a trade association for the debt buying industry. Ms. Phan is based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office.
