The law firm of Sherman Silverstein is pleased to announce that lawyers and staff recently rolled up their sleeves to fight hunger in South Jersey at the Food Bank of South Jersey. Twenty-fourlawyers and staff packed up food for the Food Bank’s summer feeding program, where they send out 2000-3000 breakfasts, lunches and snacks each day for children’s programs in their four county area. Employees also sorted through and categorized donated food.
The Food Bank of South Jersey “exists to provide an immediate solution to the urgent problem of hunger by providing food to needy people, teaching them to eat nutritiously, and helping them to find sustainable ways to improve their lives.”
