Michael J. Engle, partner at Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores, LLC (GPEFF), recently presented a seminar hosted by the Federal Bar
Association’s Criminal Law Committee. The seminar, “State Investigating Grand Jury Practice: Essentials for Federal Practitioners” provided the attendees with important insights and practice pointers for handling the representation of an individual or entity before a Statewide or County Investigating Grand Jury. The program demonstrated how Pennsylvania grand jury practice is unique and that it presents many challenges that do not exist in the Federal system.

He is a published author of three academic articles in the fields of sociology and criminology, and he is also a frequent lecturer at Villanova University where he speaks on serial murder. A summa cum laude graduate of Villanova University, Michael received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.
