Signature Place at Morris Plains Will Feature 197 Luxury Apartment Homes and Represents First Strategic Repositioning of a Mack-Cali Office Asset to a Multi-Family Community

Morris Plains Mayor Frank J. Druetzler, municipal officials, and other dignitaries will join Marshall Tycher, chairman of Roseland Residential Trust, on Thursday, August 4 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the ceremonial ground breaking of Signature Place at Morris Plains, in Morris Plains, New Jersey. When complete, the development will feature 197 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes as well as a variety of amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style outdoor swimming pool with sun deck, clubroom with billiards and theatre, golf simulator, walking trails, dog run with dog washing station, bicycle repair station, and tennis court.
The approximately 15.5-acre site was previously a Mack-Cali office building that is being repurposed into a multi-family residential community. The repositioning of select Mack-Cali office buildings into multi-family properties was a key part of the company’s strategic plan announced last year. The repurposing of assets such as 250 Johnson Road will create significant value and is designed to ensure the highest and best use of the Company’s assets.
Signature Place will provide a high-end living experience to a wide range of residents, from young professionals to empty-nesters looking to downsize from their current residence. The new luxury residential community will be situated in close proximity to numerous recreational, dining, and shopping destinations along Route 10 and throughout Morris County. Additionally, New Jersey Transit’s Morris Plains train station, with midtown direct service, and Interstates 287 and 80 are both conveniently accessible for residents of the community.
