Kim Wright to speak at SMPS Build Business National Conference
Kim Wright, CEO of Wright Commissioning, an MBE / WBE and the Philadelphia region’s only independent building commissioning firm, has been invited to address audiences at the national conference of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in Philadelphia in August. Wright’s topic, “Embracing Life’s Imbalance,” chronicles the challenges and rewards of owning a business with a workaholic husband and three—soon to be four--young children.
“Most professionals seek a work / life balance because we believe it will lead to an ideal life,” says Wright. “For me that balance is a fantasy. Will and I have built our happy place by creating a mixed-use life that has NO balance.”
Wright, a Mexican-American Filipina, will speak on Thursday, August 11th at 3:30 in Salon C&D of the Convention Center during the annual SMPS conference. She and husband Will Wright founded Wright Commissioning in 2015 and have experienced steady expansion. The firm’s offices are located at 2.0 University Place in University City, Philadelphia.
