PHILADELPHIA & BRISBANE, Australia, July 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that Paul Roberts, BSc, DipArb, FRICS, MCIArb, has joined the company as Senior Vice President in charge of Asia and Australia for Hill’s Construction Claims Group. Roberts is based in Hill’s Brisbane, Australia office.
Roberts is a vastly experienced quantity surveyor with more than 30 years of experience in all facets of commercial, contractual and dispute management. His portfolio of dispute avoidance and resolution, commercial management, procurement advice and contract management experience spans a wide variety of complex building, engineering, mining and petrochemical projects throughout Australia, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Roberts is experienced as an adjudicator, arbitrator, expert determiner and mediator and is regularly appointed to act as an expert witness. Prior to joining Hill, he was Director of Contract, Commercial and Dispute Services for Aquenta Consulting and a member of that company’s executive leadership team. Roberts earned his B.Sc. in quantity surveying from the University of Salford, his Diploma in arbitration from the College of Estate Management and his Certificate of advanced arbitration from Adelaide University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Accredited Mediator and a registered Adjudicator in most Australian states and territories.
