Stradley Ronon Partner Marissa Parker was selected by The Legal Intelligencer as one of the publication’s “2016 Lawyers on the Fast Track.” The annual awards honor outstanding young attorneys in Pennsylvania and the work they are doing to help shape the legal profession. The 35 chosen attorneys “represent the very best of what the legal profession has to offer,” stated Kristie Rearick, The Legal Intelligencer’s magazine and supplements editor.

Parker represents corporate, nonprofit and institutional clients in state and federal court and private arbitration. Her practice spans securities litigation and derivative suits, patent infringement actions, merger and acquisition disputes, ERISA litigation, and protection of institutional first amendment rights.

Jennifer Rogers, U.S. counsel at client Aberdeen Asset Management Inc., said about Parker, “[h]er level of service has been extraordinary and she has consistently balanced the legal needs of advancing the case with our clients’ business concerns.”

Parker has taken many leadership roles at Stradley, including spearheading an associate-wide survey on key retention and development issues and developing and implementing an internal skills school program with partners and associate faculty. She also serves on the board of directors for Mind Matters Philadelphia and is a member of the host committee of the Back on My Feet “Bash” annual gala.
