Dash Design Launches Dash Chat Podcast Series

6/29/16

dash design, a leading New York-based interior design and brand-consulting firm, today announced it has created a new podcast: dash Chat©. The 30-minute quarterly interview series will be hosted by David Ashen, principal and founder of dash design, and will serve as a platform to talk about topics of interest with noted brand development, design experts and other industry thought leaders. The first podcast will launch on July 25 at 9:00 a.m. ET with guest Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, editor-in-chief of Hospitality Design magazine, discussing “The New Hospitality Landscape: Brand Confusion in Hospitality.”

“The podcast is not a vanity project,” says Ashen. “Our aim is to inform, host interesting conversations, and highlight topics of interest to the interior design and brand development communities. As such, we are developing segments on critical subjects, as well as booking industry experts who are making a significant impact in our business.”

Ashen continues, “Stacy Shoemaker Rauen exemplifies our guest model. She is a true leader in the hospitality field and has a 360-degree view on the shifts in today’s marketplace, so listeners will be able to gain insight from her unique point of view.”

“When David asked me to be his guest, I immediately said yes,” says Rauen, who was recently named to Folio’s 2016 class of Top Women in Media. “I think dash Chat© will be a great educational and inspirational tool for the industry, and I’m so honored to be his first guest.”

All podcasts will be taped and available live on dash design’s website, www.dashdesign.net. The shows will also be shared socially on dash design’s LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter pages.
