PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Summit Financial, a prominent financial services firm for top independent and breakaway advisors, has appointed Jenna Bloomgarden as Director of Marketing and Advisor Development. In her new role, she will support Summit’s marketing and communications strategies within the independent RIA sector, reporting to Ed Friedman, Director, Business Development and Growth. Bloomgarden will also work with Summit’s advisors on Summit’s industry-leading platform to elevate their marketing initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance the growth of their practices. In addition, Bloomgarden will assist in identifying and transitioning top advisors and firms in the industry to Summit Financial.
Bloomgarden brings over two decades of industry experience to her new role, specializing in relationship management and business development. Most recently, she was with Dynasty Financial Partners, where she served as a senior relationship manager. Previously, Bloomgarden held positions at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Robertson, Stephens & Company.
“Summit was built on the philosophy of empowering growth among financial advisors,” said Stan Gregor, CEO of Summit Financial. “We prioritize providing our advisors with the tools they need to succeed and grow their business. Jenna’s unique skills in relationship management and marketing will not only amplify our capabilities, but also the advisor experience as well. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team.”
“Summit has experienced substantial growth in the past year, and we’re always looking for new ways to expand and diversify our skills and expertise,” said Ed Friedman, Director, Business Development and Growth. “We need forward thinking individuals like Jenna to help us continue on that trajectory.”
Summit Financial has seen significant growth since aligning with Merchant Investment Management in August 2018. The firm has expanded its presence in the financial services industry as it enhances its offerings that elevate advisor growth. The firm most recently partnered with Seeds Investor to introduce an ESG investment resource for Summit Financial advisors and their clients.
“Summit’s growth directly correlates to the unique advisor experience it offers,” remarked Bloomgarden. “Its team of forward-thinking professionals are proactively seeking cutting edge solutions to fill voids in the independent wealth management industry, which is exciting to see. I’m thrilled to be a part of this growing legacy.”
Bloomgarden’s appointment follows a series of strategic hires Summit Financial has made over the past year. The firm most recently brought on industry veteran James Rabasca to enhance Summit’s in-house tax, estate and business planning expertise. Bloomgarden is an alumna of The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and Cornell University.
