Jairo Romero
LLR Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Jairo Romero as Managing Director, Go-to-Market Excellence. With 20 years of sales and marketing leadership experience, Romero joins the firm’s Value Creation Team to help LLR portfolio companies drive sales best practices and optimize go-to-market strategies.
“Throughout his impressive career, Jairo has demonstrated an invaluable ability to impart world-class knowledge and drive both strategic and operational excellence across sales and marketing programs,” said Geoff Baird, Senior Managing Director, Value Creation, at LLR Partners. “We are excited to welcome Jairo to LLR’s Value Creation Team, where he will share this expertise with our portfolio companies in support of their growth initiatives.”
Romero joined LLR from Acquia, where he was the Chief Revenue Officer responsible for driving the rapid adoption of Acquia’s digital experience delivery platforms through a transformative go-to-market strategy. Prior to Acquia, Romero served as Chief Revenue Officer at private equity-backed DrillingInfo (now Enverus), a SaaS and data analytics company for the energy industry. Romero led DrillingInfo through a complete go-to-market transformation to achieve record-breaking new business bookings during the biggest downturn in the energy industry in the last 30 years.
Having also spent 12 years in senior roles around the globe focused on technology and enterprise sales growth at Rackspace, Romero was instrumental in taking the company from $45M to nearly $2B. Prior to joining Rackspace, he spent nearly four years at Dell Computer Corporation, helping to grow business units internationally, build teams, and lead high-performance organizations.
“Spending the last 20+ years building great go-to-market teams has taught me that culture is the pillar of long term success,” said Romero. “LLR not only has an outstanding record of exemplary performance, but also understands that collaboration, mutual trust, and cultural alignment are paramount to company growth. I look forward to partnering with our portfolio companies in that journey.”
Romero earned a B.A. from Texas Lutheran University, where he is currently a board of regent, and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas in San Antonio.
