CompassRed, Inc. today announced Greg Farrell has joined the data science and analytics company as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 1st, 2020. Farrell joins CompassRed from a corporate finance consulting role where he assisted several companies in successfully executing transactions with private equity funds. Farrell brings with him an extensive background in corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and mergers and acquisitions along with a deep appreciation for CompassRed and its unique services that are driving transformation in much of the industry.

Farrell will lead CompassRed’s financial operations team and strategize the capital opportunities for growth. He will report directly to Callahan.

Farrell has more than 30 years of financial management experience. At PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Farrell was leading buy and sell-side diligence projects for private equity and corporate clients across all industries with a focus in Healthcare, Technology, Services, and Manufacturing. He participated in a number of SEC filing projects typically in conjunction with the deal process. He received both his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his master's degree in Accounting from Penn State.
