Greenfield, CPA and Dustin B. Ward, CPA, MBA have been named partners effective January 1, 2020. Both Joe and Dustin have been a part of RSCO for more than 10 years and share in the firm’s commitment to client service. In addition to maintaining their own client accounts, they each held managerial positions and have proved to be an integral part of the firm’s growth. Having started as interns at RSCO, Joe and Dustin recognize the importance of mentorship and have helped many other young professionals as they grow within their own careers.

It has been more that 10 years since Joe started with Ruotolo, Spewak & Co. initially as a tax intern and joining full time in 2010. Over the years, he evolved from assisting with bookkeeping, tax planning and audits to his role as Partner overseeing the firm’s Tax Department. Joe is also a primary lead for various non-profit organization and CIRA/Homeowners Association audits plus provides small to medium sized businesses and individuals with tax planning and preparation, financial reporting and related consulting. Joe is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey. He is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of CPAs and shares his expertise on the Samaritan Hospice finance committee. Having a passion for teaching, Joe is a mentor in the Accounting Department at his alma mater.

Dustin joined Ruotolo, Spewak & Co. as an intern in February 2009 for tax season. Once full time, he expanded beyond tax preparation to focus on accounting and auditing work. Today as Partner, Dustin holds a managerial role, overseeing the Accounting & Auditing Department as well as participates in managing the firm’s

operations as a whole. A graduate of Rowan University, Dustin received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (2010) and Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting (2013). He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of CPAs. Dustin is also active on the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Pennsylvania/Delaware Valley Pulse committee and Birchfield Community Services Association Finance Committee.

Culture is key to the environment RSCO has created and inherent to its everyday operations. It is one built on a teach-learn philosophy, paying it forward and social responsibility. Joe’s and Dustin’s paths are a reflection of how such commitment to the company’s core principles. Having started as interns at the same time, they benefited by learning together and from one another. Together the co-workers stayed on as full time permanent employees and began mentoring new interns following in their footsteps. Yet, Joe and Dustin did more than work side-by-side, they established a friendship ~ both professionally and personally.
