Ivy Rehab, a national leader in outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitative services, opened its first location in Claymont, Delaware last month. Ivy Rehab’s expansion into Delaware is a huge step for the company as they continue to sweep the East Coast.
"We are thrilled to be expanding in the Delaware Valley and have the opportunity to offer our services to patients and doctors in the state of Delaware," said William Leitzel, Vice President of Business Development. "This marks Ivy's entry into the eleventh state in the union. Under the leadership of Gene Barbieri and John Mohollen, we'll be able to offer the same level of excellence in care and a world-class patient experience that our patients expect at all of our Ivy Rehab locations."
The new location is conveniently located at 2714 Philadelphia Pike, next to McDonald's in the Grubb's Landing retail complex. Ivy Rehab is accepting new patients and offers early morning, late evening and weekend appointment hours. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Additionally, patient transportation is available for those needing assistance.
"I'm looking forward to working with and improving the lives of this community that has welcomed me with open arms," said Ivy Rehab Claymont’s Clinic Director Jeffrey Vaisbery, PT, DPT. "I bring a unique assessment and treatment perspective to rehabilitation and physical therapy that educates patients on the root cause of dysfunction and empowers patients to attain their therapy goals of returning to sports, lifting their child or grandchild, gardening, returning to work, or personal hobbies."
