Hyland Levin Partner, Julie M. Murphy, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Network’s Chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). Julie will Co-Chair events for the Philadelphia Chapter. IWIRC is “committed to the connection, promotion and success of women in the insolvency and restructuring professions worldwide”. IWIRC’s global membership consists of more than 1,200 attorneys, bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, financial advisors and other restructuring practitioners.

Julie concentrates her practice in the areas of business reorganization, loan restructuring, loan documentation and real estate law.

Regularly advising financial institutions and other creditors in workouts, reorganizations and restructuring of defaulted credit facilities, Julie represents a variety of creditors in all types of bankruptcy, insolvency, collection and foreclosure proceedings. Clients describe her as extremely responsive and a thoughtful listener who works tremendously hard to tailor legal strategies to align with her clients’ needs, goals and concerns.
