Stradley Ronon and The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia are proud to announce that Rutgers University School of Law – Camden student Shareda Coleman and Temple University Beasley School of Law student Sara Mohamed are the inaugural recipients of the Stradley/Barristers’ Association Diversity Scholarship. Coleman and Mohamed will join the firm as summer associates in May 2017, with Coleman splitting her time between Stradley Ronon and Campbell Soup Company, and Mohamed splitting her time between Stradley Ronon and firm client InterDigital, Inc. In addition to the paid nine-week summer associate position, Coleman and Mohamed will also receive a $5,000 scholarship.

The scholarship selection committee includes Stradley Ronon Partner Deborah Hong; InterDigital Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary Jannie Lau; Campbell’s Senior Labor and Employment Counsel Jennifer Nocito; and The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia Immediate Past President Shabrei Parker. Coleman and Mohamed were selected because of their strong academic credentials, commitment to diversity, and the valuable insights and contributions their personal experiences will bring to the workplace.
Coleman received her B.A. from Rutgers University – Camden, and has worked as a summer associate at Fox Rothschild and as a legal intern at Console & Hollawell. Mohamed received her B.A. from Temple University. She is a research assistant for Temple Law Professor Kathryn Stanchi and a legal intern with Biotelemetry.
