PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced two executive appointments, effective Nov. 1.
Jane Valenta will become vice president technical, global architectural coatings, reporting jointly to David Bem, vice president, science and technology, and chief technology officer, and Jean-Marie Greindl, senior vice president, global architectural coatings, and president, PPG Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this new role, she will lead the global architectural coatings technical teams in developing a robust products-innovation process and new technologies to support PPG’s growth. Valenta is currently vice president, environment, health and safety (EHS).
Mark Cancilla will replace Valenta as vice president, EHS, with oversight of PPG’s global EHS organization. He will report to Tim Knavish, senior vice president, global automotive coatings, in this key leadership role. Cancilla is currently global platform director for coatings in PPG’s aerospace business.
