Michael S. Moorman has been named a senior supervising construction manager in the Pittsburgh office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Mr. Moorman will be responsible for leading construction management and inspection activities in Pennsylvania, including project management for various roadway and bridge construction projects. He will be responsible for hiring and training of inspection staff, budget development and monitoring, and business development within Pennsylvania.

Mr. Moorman has over 33 years of experience including construction management experience for major transportation infrastructure projects. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a regional director CDR Maguire, Inc., responsible for strategic and market planning, as well as oversight of operations and implementation of the region’s business plan. He also managed multiple highway and bridge construction projects on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and other public agencies.

A licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Florida, Mr. Moorman earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers.
