Peter Gualtieri
Savoy, a leading benefits consulting firm and regional general agency, announces that Vice President Peter Gualtieri will head its Mergers and Acquisitions Division. In addition to overseeing Savoy's emerging markets, Gualtieri will continue to be an integral part of the overall leadership team focused on implementing programs to improve the value and depth of market-leading products and services Savoy provides to brokers and their clients.
Under Gualtieri's direction over the past seven years, Savoy has been able to partner with hundreds of brokers in developing new business and creating solutions for their clients. Gualtieri was also the driving force in establishing Savoy's offices in Pennsylvania and Delaware to further brokers' business development in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Steering Savoy's mergers and acquisitions strategies, Gualtieri will work with regional leaders, identifying opportunities that will complement and support growth initiatives both within and outside of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Additionally, Chris Handley, Regional Sales Director, will assume a greater role in bringing partners the support, services and expertise needed to maintain and grow their business in their respective markets.
"We have learned through our expansions that many of our broker partners in our current footprint will realize a substantial financial benefit through new geographical business prospects and additional resources. To drive revenue, we will continue searching for the right opportunities," said Gualtieri.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Gualtieri, a Central High School alumni, holds both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business from Temple University. Previously, as Vice President at UnitedHealthcare, Gualtieri helped lead their entry into the Pennsylvania market. As an experienced leader within the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), Gualtieri served as a board member and the President of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU). Gualtieri currently serves as the State President of the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters (PAHU).
