Most recently, Maxwell held the position of Chief Strategy Officer and chair of the Clinical and Financial Advisory Boards at Homecare Homebase, the industry’s leading electronic medical record (EMR). Tom also held the title of Chief Operations Officer at Homecare Homebase for seven years. He was formerly director of Customer Services for the Ambulatory Physician Office and Electronic Medical records at GE Healthcare, and vice president of Implementation and Customer Services for Millbrook/GE Healthcare.

Maxwell studied Management Information Systems, with Special Recognition, at Park University, while serving as a Navy Fleet Marine Force Hospital Corpsman where he was awarded two Navy Accommodation Medals, three Navy Achievement Medals, one Army Achievement Medal and the National Defense Medal. Also, he served as on the Board of Directors for the Trophy Club Wounded Warriors Association and continues to be an advocate for many of the wounded warriors programs throughout the country.

He also served as a technical advisor to the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation technology workgroup, an active member of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) Homecare Technology Association, and author of many publications, presentations and articles focused on technology and healthcare.
