This Startup Wants to Crowdfund its Way to a Smart Mirror

As if we didn’t have enough screens around, there’s a Philly-based company called Perseus Mirrors, which — you guessed it — wants to create a smart mirror that can double as an info hub, a makeup assistant, a photobooth and plenty more.

The company, started by students from Harvard and the Wharton School, launched a Kickstarter campaign last week to wrangle up the first $100,000 to kick off manufacturing and assembly. In less than a week, they’re already at more than $41,000.
