Dominic Moffa Named Geisinger Health System Chief Strategy Officer

Dominic Moffa, MBA, FACHE, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Geisinger Health System, responsible for strategic planning, business development, corporate communications, government relations, and mergers and acquisitions.

"We are pleased to welcome Dominic to his new system role at Geisinger," said Geisinger President and Chief Executive Officer David T. Feinberg, M.D., MBA. "He has a wealth of experience and accomplishment, and I look forward to partnering with him as he leads our strategic initiatives."

Moffa will transition to his new role from AtlantiCare – A Member of Geisinger Health System, where he has served in numerous leadership positions since 1986, most recently as senior vice president, administration, and executive vice president. He has been responsible for system level strategic growth, and played an instrumental role in AtlantiCare earning the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2009.

A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Moffa earned his undergraduate degree at Saint Joseph's University and a Master of Business Administration at Temple University. He completed an administrative residency at Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia.
